He is survived by : his former life partner Karen Hindenach; his daughters, Laurie Pfiester (Jason) of Bellevue, MI and Amy Romanowski of Bellevue, MI; his granddaughter Ellie; his sister Carla Austin of Jackson, MI; his nephew Scott Austin of Parma, MI; and his niece Diane Rieke (Charles) of Tiffin, OH.
