It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harold Steele of Marshall, Michigan, born in Homer, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Woodrow and Callie Steele (Hackworth); and his siblings, Dennis Steele and Pauline Hill. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughter Cassandra Steele (Raymond Hallock); and his sister Kathleen Bronson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Eckford Cemetery (19 1/2 Mile Rd, Marshall, MI 49068).
