She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Novak and Elsie Novak (Gruenberg); her former husband Joe Kunik; her daughter Victoria Gunter; her granddaughter Nicole Gunter; and her siblings, Clarence, Frank, Delbert, Bernard and Sally.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Kunik; her children, Joseph Kunik Jr. (Cay), Kevin Kunik (Judy) and Barbara Martinski (Victor); her son-in-law Steve Gunter; her grandchildren, Teri Kunik, Justin Kunik (Kristen), Tyler Kunik (Jenny), Benjamin Gunter (Kayce), Timothy Gunter (Alicia), Joshua Kunik (Alayna), Alexandria Chludil (Austin), Stephanie Behrens (Matthew), Melissa Ellis (Kyle), Kimberly Martinski and Steven Martinski; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Staszak and Kelly Reed (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Emmee, Jaycob, Max, Luke Hilgendorf, MacKynlee, Reagan Kunik, Lexie, Tessa, Grayer, Blakely Gunter, Reed, Elise Chludil, Ethan, Addison Behrens, Hadley and Mable Ellis; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Berkleigh Reed, Whitley Reed and Ella Clarkson; and her brother Robert Novak (Susie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church of Albee (5661 Fergus Rd, St Charles, MI 48655).
