Jim Chrysler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Chrysler of Martin, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Chrysler and Donah Chrysler (Moses); his former wife Sally Chrysler; his brother Dale Chrysler; and his brother-in-law Bill Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Chrysler; his children, Sally Wilkinson, Leslie James Chrysler II, Vicki McGlaughlin (Richard), Christopher Wells and Colleen Brown (Anthony); his grandchildren, David Carter (Autumn), Sara Wilkinson, Leslie James Chrysler III, Sammy Chrysler (Chadd Kinsey), Kaitlyn McGlaughlin, Kaleb McGlaughlin (Caitlyn Moore) and Amyra Brown; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Lily, Jimmy IV and Maddie; his siblings, Donah Hyland (Dale), Duane Chrysler (Linda), Marie Hamilton, Judy Wells (Kenny) and Frank Chrysler (Anna); and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Lynn Chrysler, Alice Grisham, Terry McCormic (Joyce), Mark McCormic (Becky) and Ruthann Tottingham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mcgeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel (316 W Broad St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Michigan BAC Community Service and Scholarship Fund, in memory of Leslie (Jim) James Chrysler, to support apprentices in the Michigan Trowel Trades Apprenticeship and Training Program.
