He was predeceased by: his parents, Arby Button and Beatrice Button (Shaw); his wife Mary Lou Button (Wangler); his son-in-law Dale Myaard; and his daughter Peggy Kay Moore.
He is survived by: his former wife Jennette Parkhurst (Bargwell); his children, Robert Lee Button and Kathleen Myaard; his sister Elaine McBride (Timothy); his sister-in-law Gloria Button; and his grandchildren, Jason Myaard (Brandi), Sarah Myaard, Rachel Gates (Ryan), Kate Lund (Jeremy) and Eric Myaard (Shelby). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
