He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil Gilbert Sr.; his brother Rodney Gilbert; and his sister-in-law Sandy Hamilton (Pat). He is survived by: his mother Joyce Gilbert; his wife Jeanne Langolf; his children, Christopher Gilbert, Heather Ritter (Stephen) and Stacey Earl (Stephen); his grandchildren, Matthew Charest, Courtney Seale, Zoe Ritter and Andrew Earl; his great grandchild Juniper Harrington; his siblings-in-law, Roy Langolf (Lisa), Kellie Bordato and Becky Langolf; his close friend Mark Burkhardt; and his pet Katy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marysville Funeral Home (1200 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
