The memory of Robert E Lapish Jr. of Marysville, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E Lapish and Lorraine Lapish; his sisters, Linda Leffler (Don) and Nancy Wilson; his stepfather Fred Roche; his in-laws, Bud and Peg Friedland; and his brother-in-law Kevin Friedland.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Friedland; his daughters, Nicole Rankin (Alyne), Erika Oâ (Patrick), Brien and Stacy Clow (Jim); his grandchildren, Natalie Rankin, Griffin Clow, Landon Clow and Cooper Rankin; his siblings, Julie Seefried (Rick), Martha Hanley (Brian) and Dan Lapish (Jenyfer); his brother-in-law Don Wilson; his stepbrother Mike Roche; and his siblings-in-law, Randy (Diana), David (Sue), Brian, Paul Friedland (Caren) and Sally Friedland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church- Holy Trinity (325 32nd St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
