Steven C Petersen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven C Petersen of Marysville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Petersen and Helen Petersen; his sister Linda Petersen; his brother-in-law David Sager; and his nephew Chad Sager.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Shannon Burgess Jr. (Gary), Heather Petersen Scott (Carl) and Eric Petersen (Erica Rittenhouse); his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Nichole Burgess, Acacia Jemison, Douglas, Joshua Brace, Olivia and Whitney Schulz; and his siblings, Cindy Sager, Scott Petersen and Amy Petersen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (1000 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
