He was predeceased by : his wife Shari Sanders; his parents, Jay Sanders and Norene Sanders (Potter); his brothers, Bruce, Richard and Lennis Sanders; and his sister-in-law Virginia Sanders.

He is survived by : his close friends, King, Tiny, Seargent and Morgan; his siblings, Ralph Sanders (Linda) and Esther Sanders-Shrontz (Dean); and his sister-in-law Lauralee Sanders. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
