He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Hawkins and Alice Hawkins (DeClercq); his son David Hawkins Jr.; and his siblings, Dale Hawkins, Dorine Kilburn, Paul Hawkins, Doris Williams, Mary Ellison and John Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Hawkins; his daughter Laurie Hawkins-Greathouse (David); his daughter-in-law Lisa Wade (Steve); his grandchildren, Brian Mullin Jr. (Kelsey), Judson Mullin (Deanna), Brandon Mullin (Michelle), Kelsi Hawkins-Wade, Lacey Hawkins-Wade, Karlie Hawkins-Wade and Vance Wade; his great grandchildren, Taylor Richardson, Jakob Mullin, Jayden Mullin, Scott Mullin, Levi Mullin, Willow Bisel, Jameson Bisel and Athena Ott; and his siblings, Pauline Royston, Audrey Hartenburg and Sidney Hawkins Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Eaton Rapids Chapel (315 S River St, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827).
