We are sad to announce that, on July 14, 2025, at the age of 94, Douglas Earl Richey of Mason, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Richey; and his siblings, Clare Richey, Vernon Richey, Frederick Richey, Bruce Richey, Crystal Schermerhorn (Richey), Violet Richey and Virginia Butrick (Richey).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Richey (Goad); his sons, Gary Richey (Penny), James Richey (Patti), Thomas Richey (Cynthia) and Scott Richey; his brother Garth Richey (Jan); and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Richey (Ethel Richey), Doris Goad (Marvin), Carole Goad (Bill) and Marlene Denison (Wayne). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to City Rescue Mission of Lansing.
