She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Ferrin and Elmer Ferrin; her siblings, Betty Miller, Rose Treon and Robert Ferrin; her former husband Peter Tharnish; and her husband Frank Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Tharnish (Susan), Susan Pavwoski (Ed), Paula Orler (Jeff), Julie Chelf (Scott) and Marilyn Matthiesen (Bob). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
