He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Stid (Diehl) and Louis A. Stid; his grandfather Clarence Diehl; his brother Joseph; and his son Thomas.
He is survived by: his uncles, David and Dorn Diehl; his sister Deborah Clow; his wife Sara; his sons, Mark Stid (Karen Foulds), Daniel Stid (Martha Enthoven) and Paul Stid (Amie Cady); his grandchildren, Dennielle, Noah, Sophia, Victoria Hawkins (Richard), Jacob, Thomas, Madalyn, Zachary, Charlotte, Kaitlyn and Isabelle; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Roselyn and Addelyn Hawkins.
