He was predeceased by: his father Darvin Hiske (Bud); and his grandparents, Walter, Ethyl Dant (Black), Harold and Rose Hiske (Timm).

He is survived by: his mother Pat Hiske (Dant); his wife Myra Hiske; his sister Cherrie Plume (Allen); and his nephews, Justin Plume and Sawyer Plume (Tali Snowden).
