She was predeceased by : her parents, Ward Kilmer and Fay Kilmer (McNiel); her children, Fay Ann Vaughn and Andy Mead; her grandson Corey Sanders; her siblings, Calvin Kilmer (Donna), Norman Kilmer and Martha Terpenning (Keith); and her brother-in-law Larry Dietz.

She is survived by : her husband Keith Mead; her children, David Mead (Michelle) and Mary Kay Sanders (David); her grandchildren, Daniel Mead (Becky), Shari Mead, Aaron Mead (Jaclynn), Lorin Mead (Jason Frick), Brian Mead, Sarah Graham (Tony), Anna Springfield (Ryan), Ethan Vaughn (Becca Fowler), Martha Vaughn-Gilleland (Tyler), Micah Vaughn (Jessi), Joshua Mead (Julie), Ryan Mead (Teresa), Jacob Mead (Ashley), Justus Mead (Tori), Kayla Benkelman (Jefrey), Leah Sanchez (Denilo), Elizabeth Sanders (Zach Fritz) and Benjamin Sanders (Katie); her great grandchildren, Sami, Abigail, Tristan, Connor, Mackenzie, Gage, Claryssa, Sawyer, Ryder, Sophia, Amelia, Liam, Jefrey and Katrin; her children-in-law, Don Vaughn and Lori Mead; her sisters, Nellie Childs (Armand) and Alice Dietz; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Kilmer.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a Memorial be made in her honor to Dayton Center Church, Camp Michael or Joshua Mead with BIMI.
