He is survived by: his wife Ruth Cousins; his children, Jim Ahern (Susan), Audrey Smith (Larry) and David Ahern (Shari); his grandchildren, Sarah Fessler (Chris), Aaron Ahern (Angel), Courtney Fox (Alex), Connor Smith, Colin Smith (Cora), Carley Riskey (Devin), Josh Elek, Austin Ahern (Cira) and Anna Ahern (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Leland Fessler, Emma Fessler, Gabriel Fox and Ava Fox; his niece Pam Tyll; and his stepsister Florence Gotfryd. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.
