She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Kilmer and Fay Kilmer (McNiel); and her siblings, Calvin Kilmer, Norman Kilmer, Anna May Mead and Martha Terpenning.
She is survived by: her husband Armond W. Childs; her children, Scott Childs (Melody), Douglas Childs (Julie) and April Thompson (Robert); and her sister Alice Dietz. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Juniata Baptist Church (5656 Washburn Rd, Vassar, MI 48768).
