It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Claire Keck of Mayville, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ruth Claire departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruth Claire. Though Ruth Claire may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Schansberg and Margaret Schansberg; her brothers, Gerald Schansberg of Whitehall, WI and Phillip Schansberg of Delano, MN; and her daughter Margaret Edith Keck.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Keck; her children, Steven Keck (Lynn) of Romeo, MI and Jodell Gay (Thomas) of North Branch, MI; and her siblings, Linda Schansberg Barrett (Thomas) of Raskin, FL and James Schansberg (Susan) of Eau Claire, WI. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
