He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Boven (Timothy) of Marion, Rhonda Fisher of McBain and Alan Jr. Simmons (Trisha) of McBain; his grandchildren, Travis Beerens II, Melinda, Jeffrie, Wayne, Boven, Charlie, Connor Fisher, Haylee Purdy, Tristan, Daniel McElhinney, Shelby and Alec Simmons; and his siblings, Wayne Simmons of Cadillac, Daryl Simmons (Nancy) of Manton, Gary Simmons (Kym) of Burton, Mary Braden (Brian) of Burton, Nancy Scungio (Vince) of Manton, Chris Simmons of Texas, Michele Willis of Farmington Hills, Sharon Forbes (Roger) of Marmaduke, AK. and Robert Bigelow of Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephew.
