Ann Elaine Wingerd Obituary

We announce the death of Ann Elaine Wingerd of McBain, Michigan, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 91. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Friess and Ruth Friess (Cain); her son George Wingerd Jr.; her siblings, Roy Friess and Catherine Myers; and her brother-in-law Richard Myers.

She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Patricia Cranor (Kyle) of Blissfield, Stephen Wingerd (Angela) of Riga and Mark Wingerd of Blissfield; her sisters, Penny Harrington (Terry) of Falmouth and Reva Hoaglund (Jim) of Tustin; Madeline Friess of McBain, Michigan.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ann Wingerd's name can be made to Hospice or the Lake City Christian Reformed Church.
