She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew VanHaitsma and Fannie VanHaitsma (Beerens); her husband Marvin Wendell Brannam; her siblings, Herman VanHaitsma (Estelle), Marian Jenema (Bob) and Bernard "Bud" VanHaitsma (Louise); and her in-laws, Dale Birtles, Virgia Mae Creps (Charles), Elmer Brannam (Dorothy) and Donald Brannam (Dolores).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharlene Bogard (Dick) of Traverse City, Kathy Brinks (Cal) of Interlochen and Sandy Schoo (Tim) of Falmouth; her grandchildren, Heather Holland (Dan), Sunya Hobson (Jason), Heidi McGregor (Jim), Travis Schoo (Dana), Scott Brinks (Heather) and Dusty Schoo (Kristen); and her sisters, Elaine Rozelle (Rex) of Hudson and Phyllis Birtles of McBain. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Missaukee Humane Society.
