She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hofstra and Gertie Hofstra (DeBoer); her husband Casper Bierens; her daughter Donna Wiinikainen; her son-in-law Dallas Wiinikainen; her grandson Chris Wiinikainen; and her brothers, Merton Hofstra (Katherine), Raymond Hofstra (Helen) and Harold Hofstra.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Eisenga (Don) of Marion, Jerry Bierens of Milford and Gail Chucta; her grandchildren, Brenda Sue Larr (Michael), Kevin Duane Eisenga (Tami), Shawn Matzen, Lizelle Ann Bazuin (James) and Chan Wiinikainen (Becky); and her sister-in-law Kay Hofstra. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to the Rehoboth Reformed Church of Lucas and/or Hospice of Michigan.
