He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sweet and Willma Sweet; and his brother Carl Sweet. He is survived by: his wife Patrecia; his children, Karen Fauble of Florida and Michael Sweet (Judy) of McBain; his grandchildren, Derek Fauble of McBain, Max Sweet of Florida and Abby Dick (Tyler) of McBain; his great grandchildren, Sadie and Ellie Dick; his sisters, Virginia King (Sid) and Carol Hoekwater (Raymond); and his sister-in-law Elinor Sweet.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or the McBain Baptist Church.
