With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michelle Louise Bowen-Quist of McBain, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schierbeek and Camille Schierbeek (Mace); her former husband Douglas Bowen; her husband Don Quist; and her siblings, Pierre Schierbeek, Jean-Rene Schierbeek and Monique Branch.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Bowen Normand (Marty); her grandchildren, Destiny Ames (Ryan) and Carter Garcia; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Normand and Riley Normand; her great grandchild Ryan Ames; her siblings, Suzanne Stahl (Larry), Giselle Walker (John) and Jacques Schierbeek (Sonya); and her siblings' children, Bowen and Quist.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vogel Center Christian Reformed Church (1829 E Stoney Corner Rd, McBain, MI 49657).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made out to the Vogel Center CRC building fund.
