She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Boven and Jennie Boven (Comdure); and her siblings, Margaret Kortman (Harvey), Merlin Boven and Alvin Boven.
She is survived by: her children, Irene VanDrie (Doug Metcalf) of Lake City, Kevin VanDrie (Sharon) of Traverse City and Celeste Armstrong (Chris) of Rockford; and her sister-in-law Nancy Boven of Rockford. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandsons.
