He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey VanderVlucht; his parents-in-law, John Henderson, Ed, Alice Gilde and Norma Rich; his niece Brenda; and his great-nephew Bryce.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen VanderVlucht of Cadillac; his children, Randy VanderVlucht, Kari Hughston (Lum) of McBain, Mark Hinton (Shannon) of Bellevue, Michael Hinton of Mound and Amy Hinton of Farwell; and his siblings, Garry VanderVlucht (Pat) of Meirs and Hazel Mae Henderson of Lowell.
