With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Marie Michalak (McMillan, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lee Douglas Plesscher; her in-laws, Gregory and Virginia Michalak; and her siblings-in-law, Cal Geerlings, Dave Edgar, Mike Marshall, Diane Marshall and Carol Edgar.
She is survived by: her mother Betty Plesscher (Engman); her husband Donald Michalak; her daughter Misti Collia (Bob); her grandchildren, Zachary Collia and Amya Collia; her stepgrandchildren, Joel Collia and Danielle Collia; her siblings, Teri Geerlings, Marietta Kimbler (Dave), Rebecca Gonzalez (Bob), Dixie Bryers (Brian) and Tim Plesscher (Gail); her siblings-in-law, Dave Michalak (Kathy), Greg Michalak (Michelle) and Sharon Lambert; and her friends, Cathleen Martin, Linda Goldthorpe, Margie Goldthorpe, Diane Krause and Shelley Searl. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
