With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Allen Elston of Melvin, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Elston and Sophia Elston (Wolf); his in-laws, Harold and Loretta Gentile; and his sister-in-law Pattie Gentile.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kosek; his children, Patrick, Leanne Haken (Scott), Kimberly Kasper (Andy), Michael, Barbara, David (Jeni) and Daniel Kosek (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia Haken, Dezaray Elston, Matthew (Venessa), Kyle Bower, Britiney (Jay), Amber (Kyle), Preston (Heidi), Sabrina Kosek, Jessica, Peyton and Shelby; and his brother-in-law Louie Bennett. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Bethel Missionary Church or Marlette Hospice.
