She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Giovanni Talamonti and Maria Talamonti; her husband William T. Powell; her grandchildren, Matthew Merritt, Megan Mydlowski (Richard) and William R. Powell; her great grandchildren, William J., Wyatt and Louis; and her stepchildren, Jose Tosis (Linda) and Anita Ventimiglia (Peter).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (19624 Wood St, Melvindale, MI 48122).
