Bonnie Jean Russell Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 77, Bonnie Jean Russell (Mendon, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Westley Copenhafer and Louisa Copenhafer (Harriger); her sisters, Eleanore Cooley and Arlene Miller; and her brother-in-law Stanley Russell.
She is survived by: her significant other Stanley Russell; her children, Keith Russell (Connie) and Terri Rutherford; her grandchildren, James Russell (Ashley), Megan Russell, Wesley Rutherford (Liz), Robert Rutherford and Tamera Ellis (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Adalynn, Kayden, Evalynn, Liliana, Allison, Owen, Gavin, Elias, Emma and Aurora; and her sister Geraldine Fries. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
It is suggested that donations be made to either the American Heart Association or Centrica Care Navigators Hospice.
