She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Truckey and Claire Truckey (Delehanty); her brother Mark Truckey; and her son Jason Schabes. She is survived by: her husband Steve Schabes; her son Steven Schabes (Laurie); her granddaughters, Taylor and Lauren Schabes; and her close friends, Kathy Stump, Babs Bohnke and Kelly Martin.
It is suggested that donations be made to the Mendon High School Foundation for the Hornet Softball Program or to the Alzheimer's Association.
