Kendal G. Crummel Obituary
A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, at her grandparents' home, 28368 Jacksonburg Rd. Mendon, MI 49072. Kendal was a bright person, and she loved bright colors! To honor her the family asks that you wear bright shirts and during her celebration. Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. The Lord protects and preserves them, they are counted among the blessed in the land - he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. - Psalm 41:1-3. Memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Michigan, c/o the funeral home.
Age 16, of Mendon, Kendal ran to the arms of the Lord on July 2, 2025. She passed away at Bronson Hospital where she was surrounded by her loving family, friends and caretakers. On February 24, 2009, Kendal was born, 5 weeks later, her life changed with a brain aneurysm that led to many more complications. That's when we learned to navigate the special needs world. But that would never stop her from living a special life which had an impact on many. In spite of her struggles, she found the grace, strength and joy to smile and to laugh. She was full of passion and enjoyed the moments she had. She loved spending a spa day with her sister, swimming at school with friends or at home with her family and always looked forward to a day at the beach. She was a "Swiftie" just like her big sister. She enjoyed Bluey, Hello Kitty, Fancy Nancy, Moana and Tangled. She loved holding her stuffed animals, violet and dolly and especially loved the opportunity to hold her little cousins when they visited. She attended school and made a loving impact on her teachers, assistants, nurses and fellow students. Kendal's body had deformities, but her heart was whole and perfect! She loved the Lord, loved her family and loved others! She made a final expression of that love as a Gift of Life donor which will impact the lives of many in need. Kendal is survived by her parents, Eric (Kimberlee) Crummel; sister, Kaitlyn Crummel; grandparents, Ken (Alice) Wanks; Judy George; great-grandparents, Lee (Mary Jo) Brown; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her grandfather, Jerry Crummel; great-grandparents, Jim (Betty) Dabbs; Harold (Donna) Crummel.
