We announce the death of Michael Lynn Straehly of Mendon, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 78. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Michael will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Michael’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Thelma (Dodd); and his siblings, David Straehly, Ronnie Hudson and Linda Hudson.
He is survived by: his brother David Hudson of Mendon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene (70031 S Lakeview St, Sturgis, MI 49091). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
