Steven Russell Gary Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Russell Gary of Mendon, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Steven Russell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Steven Russell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Gary and Anna Gary (Brown); and his sister Penny Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Helga Cook; his children, Sonja Hunter (Doyle) and Nathan Gary (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Amelia, Briana, Bryan and Aiden; his stepchildren, Todd Cook (Tracie) and Lisa Batten (James); and his sister Gloria Gary-Smith. He is also survived by extended families, friends.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Vicksburg Cemetery.
