He is survived by: his wife Claire Lorenz; his brothers, Scott "John" Ewald (Carol) and Rex Ewald (Sharon); his siblings-in-law, Claudia Gaveske (Bob), Kris Sheraski and David Lorenz (Phyllis); and his pet Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
