It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ray Niemi of Menominee, Michigan, born in Lanse, Michigan, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tobias Niemi and Katherine Niemi (Herrala); and his brother Calvin Niemi. He is survived by: his wife Judy of Menominee; his sons, Chad Niemi (Tonya) of Iron Mountain, MI, Nathanael Niemi of Menominee, MI and Aaron Niemi of Menominee, MI; his grandsons, Aiden and Nolan Niemi; and his siblings, Gloria Poronto of Ishpeming, MI, Valerie Poutanen (Larry) of Ishpeming, MI and Gerald Niemi of L'Anse, MI.. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
