He is survived by : his sisters, Susan Gilbert (Timothy Torgersen) of Iron Mountain, MI, Karen Gilbert (David Gebhart) of Chicago, IL, Sara Gilbert (Thomas Soto) of Elmwood Park, IL and Beth Gilbert (Tino) of Beecher, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Lee, Christina and Jason McKenzie. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
