He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Mastejko and Marion Mastejko; his birth mother Bessie Kleist; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Loraine Bickel; his brothers, Jim Mastejko, James Krull, LeRoy Krull (Fred), Clarence Krull Jr. and Gerald Krull; and his brother-in-law Terry Uhl.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Bickel of Peter's Catholic Church; his daughter Marissa; his son-in-law Scott Axtell; his grandchildren, Alexa, Abilene and Casey Axtell; his siblings, Ricky Kleist, Gary Hoovey (Kate) and Sandy Stevens (Joe); his godchildren, Jason Leisch, Jerrad Wingers, Brian Bickel and Judy Mastejko; his siblings-in-law, Sandy (Tom Leisch), Angela Carolyn Uhl (Dale Monnette), Sheila (David Denowski), Chris Bickel (Karen) and Nick Bickel (Jeanie); and also, Tom Buyarski, Lee Aderman, Tom Walker, Jim Moker and Howie Klein.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cadieu Funeral Home (549 10th Ave, Menominee, MI 49858). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location.
