She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Albert and Esther Albert (Block); and her siblings, James, Arlene, Lois and Sandy.

She is survived by : her husband Fred Ewaldt; her children, Rhonda Anderson, Thomas Retlick (Kris), Amy Ewaldt and Sarah Ewaldt; her grandchildren, Skyler Moon, Zane Anderson, Alissa Retlick, Breanna Retlick and Keegan Retlick; and her siblings, Barbara Albert, Glenn Albert (June) and David Albert (Rose).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cadieu Funeral Home (549 10th Ave, Menominee, MI 49858). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
