He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Paige Arlene Emery; and his sister Penny Bell. He is survived by: his children, Ted Emery (Elizabeth) of Three Oaks, Theresa Gale (Sean) of Grand Ledge and Stacy Emery (Shawn Smith) of Holly; the mother of his children Phyllis Emery of Three Oaks; his grandchildren, Kaylee Emery of Holly and Sgt. Isaac Maze of San Antonio, TX; his siblings, Patti Emery (Bob Monk) of Merrill, Pam Miller (Mike) of Merrill, Danni Emery (Christina) of St. Johns, FL and Steven Emery (Tammy) of Ashland, TN.; his aunt Lilly James; his uncle Fred Wallin; and his close friend Gerald Blackburn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (10020 E Monroe Rd, Wheeler, MI 48662).
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Jonesfield Lakefield Fire Department.
