He is survived by : his wife Patricia "Pat" Smith of Merrill; his children, Joan Hoffman of Hemlock, Julie Fleminger (Marty) of Hemlock, Jeanette Carlson (John) of Merrill and Jeff Smith (Michelle) of Merrill; his grandchild Lindsay Hoffman (Cam Marsrow); his children, Michael Hoffman, Natalie Hoffman, Haley Wissner (Thomas), Courtney Fleminger (Logan Clements), Ashley Fleminger (Noah Stewart), Shelby Carlson (Brian), Emma Glazier (Julius), Lucas Carlson, Josh Smith and Trisha Smith (Cody Mellon); his great grandchild Malia Wissner; and his brothers-in-law, Leslie Elwood of Oklahoma City, OK and James Obermiller of Bay City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
