He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Mary Jean (Ensing) Wilson; children: Tammy Marie Wilson, Virgil Ray Wilson (Annette Lynn Mullas), Timothy Wayne Wilson (Dawn Kuntz), Paul Russell Wilson (Laura Neace), Ruby May (Wilson) Gunther (Kirk Gunther), and Suprena (Wilson) Flamand; sisters: Carlie Mae (Wilson) Hose, Arlo J. (Wilson) Bartholomew, and Helen E. (Wilson) Chrispell; brother-in-law: Robert (Bob) Pennell; parents: Earl Ray Wilson and Violet Olla (Adams) Wilson; sister: Mary Ellen (Wilson) Pennell; brothers: Robert R. Wilson and Roger Wilson; brothers-in-law: Chuck Chrispell and Russell (Russ) Hose; grandson: Brandon Michael Wilson; daughter-in-law: Kelly Mae (Silvers) Wilson; and 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Merritt-Butterfield Community Church (428 S Merritt Rd, Merritt, MI 49667). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Merritt Butterfield Community Church, Polio Association, or the American Heart Association.
