Lester L. Barnes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester L. Barnes of Mesick, Michigan, who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Barnes and Vera Barnes; his son Byron Barnes; his in-laws, Emmett and Sabie Wilkerson; and his siblings, Robert, Donald, Richard and Ivadean.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wilkerson; his children, Laurie Barnes and Tony Barnes; and also Gary Elder. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Colfax Community Church, 2010 East 16 Road, Manton, MI 49663.
