He is survived by: his wife Faye Newell (Miller); his children, Cherie K. Filmore (Larry), James E. Newell (Pam), Christine L. Neyer (Ron), Steven M. Newell, Peter J. Newell (Amanda) and Samuel D. Newell; his brothers, Bill Newell (Linda), Charles Newell (Dawn), David Newell (Karen) and Robert Newell (Ray); and his sister-in-law Vickey Newell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
