Jon Thomas Welch Obituary

We announce the death of Jon Thomas Welch of Middleville, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 62. Jon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jon will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Jon’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee James and Joyce Yvonne Welch (Thomas); his grandparents, Roy and Nina Thomas (Smallen); his uncle Don Thomas; and his aunt Sarah Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Winnie Rene' Welch (Walker); his daughter Lacey R. Dunn (William F. Dunn III); and his grandchildren, Will, Abigail and Madelyn Dunn of Wayland, Michigan.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and many friends.
