Alice Jean Potts Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Jean Potts of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Novak and Frances Novak (Pashick); her brothers, Edward (Karen Novak) and Lawrence (Agnes Novak); and her brother-in-law Paul Card.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Potts; her son Larry; her grandchildren, Kenneth Potts (Laurie) of Jenison, Mary Jo Witer (Mike) of Beaverton, John Potts of Bay City, Christopher Potts (Jill) of Lansing, Michigan., Lindsay Baskel (William), Theodore Potts (Desyree), Heidi Upchurch (Steven Elmer), Nathaniel Upchurch (Stephanie), Thomas Potts, Finn Potts, Jessica Partaka (Bryan) and Jason Witer (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Madelyn, Kaylee Baskel, Gloria Potts and Abigail Witer; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Card.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3109 Swede Ave, Midland, MI 48642).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center Palliative Care Department, 1500 Weiss Street in Saginaw, Michigan 48602-5251.
