He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Klein; his sister Gerri Hosna; his sons-in-law, Simon Mackenzie and John Baldyga; and his parents, Frances Zupic (Ocetek) and Philip Zupic.

He is survived by: his children, Ann Mackenzie, Philip Zupic, Linda Baldyga and Marc Zupic (Karen Kuciel). He is also survived by five grandchildren.

His work included contributions to the development of Saran film and Styrofoam, as well as plastic piping and manufacturing development.
