It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlene J Hoogerhyde of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Rettelle and Norma Rettelle; her husband Willard E. Hoogerhyde; her son William Brigs; her granddaughter Brandi Jo Presley; and her great grandchild Allysa Jo Planer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Bloom (Bill), Carla Leitch and Terrie Rolands (Joe); her grandchildren, Jade Bloom, Alyssa Nelson (Dwayne) and Jacob Brigs; her great grandchildren, Taylor Planer (Kate), Jasmine Spence (Victor), Brooklyn Presleigh and Aelius Nelson; and her great great grandchildren, Presleig Spence and Maddux Planer.

In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Open Door Baptist Church in her honor.
