She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hough and Clara Hough (Koss); her husband Joseph Henry Skarbek; her son Todd Skarbek; her siblings, Nora Stahle, Clara Sautter, Jane Baker and John Hough; and her close friend Clifford Corbat.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Ferrio (Patricia) and Tina Crower; her grandchildren, Seth Ferrio (Aleatha), Noah Ferrio (Chantel), Jay Crower (Trevana) and Jody VanWormer (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Jonathon VanWormer, Rocky Crower, Eli Crower, David Ferrio, Abraham Ferrio, Alexander Ferrio, Benjamin Ferrio and Landon Ferrio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3109 Swede Ave, Midland, MI 48642). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Alzheimers Foundation or Senior Services of Midland County in her honor.
