He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burghardt and Frances Burghardt Jr. (Lupp); and his wife Cynthia Lynn Stark. He is survived by: his children, Frank Burghardt IV (Kristin) and Renee Burghardt; his grandchildren, Allison Pickering and Kendele Burghardt; his siblings, Sharon Meyer (Harry) and Dennis Burghardt (Joanne); his nephew Greg Burghardt; his great-nephew Daniel; and his nephews, Kevin Burghardt (Christy) and Ryan Sias.
